This online catfish tournament: April 1st - 30th, 2026 Registration is $5 per person.

Weekly statuses will be sent, until the last week of the tournament. At that time daily emails will be sent.
All fish must be legally caught with a rod and reel per DWR rules and regulations.
Anywhere that you are legally able to fish from within the state of Virigina. You can fish from a boat, the bank, the pier, a kayak, etc.
All fish must be caught using rod and reel. Participants must fight the fish unassisted from initial strike to time of landing. Help while landing is permitted.
Snagging is not allowed.
Any legal bait is allowed.
Top three participants with the longest catfish submitted will be awarded a cash prize.
1st - $200.00 / 2nd - $100.00 / 3rd - $75.00
The tournament will span the entire month.
In the event of a tie, the date and time of photo submission will decide placement.
No, if you don’t want to keep the fish, take a quick photo and release it back where it came from.
Its encouraged to release fish over 50 pounds, as those produce the most eggs.
The target species of this tournament is catfish (any species) .
